Toyota recently unveiled its new Supra model, which will be officially launched in 2020. But after its unveiling at the famous Detroit auto show, visitors were not impressed with what they saw. The legendary Supra, no longer so.... Supra. Design-wise, it's nothing innovative, sportier and more plain. But in contrast, in terms of engine performance, things have drastically changed direction.

But also normally, the 2020 Toyota Supra is the first original product developed by Gazoo Racing Co. which is a subsidiary of Toyota , but still separate. The idea is Toyota having in 2017 reorganized completely with new ideas to streamline operations. The new Supra will be powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged, 3.0-liter I-6 ( six-cylinder inline ) engine from BMW mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Supra will weigh a not-at-all-light 1,540 pounds. The engine will generate 335 hp and
494 Nm of torque..... you were expecting a toyota engine weren't you ?! Well...., it won't be unfortunately. Not only that, but a lot of legend lovers were unhappy with the overall concept of the model. But Toyota know their best.
