Don't trust anyone offering roadside assistance !
Not every company is licensed, in fact there are still many offering this service with wrapped trucks, most with one truck, but they lack a license. Their prices are sometimes deceptively low and can cause you more headaches than help. Not to mention that in the event of a claim, you can neither prove they are at fault nor can you convict them of illegal activity. Unless you were taking pictures or the police catch them the moment they pull in or take down the vehicle, etc. These people lack any professionalism and may not have even handled this type of machinery, and believe me, loading a car is NOT a child's toy. God forbid you get a spider without paperwork, not only for the company but for the vehicle. 5 years ago they condemned a municipality by the sea, because their own spiders, had no technical inspection, not only of the machines themselves, but also of the boom ( the crane with the mobile arm type spider ), not to mention that they lacked a license.... And this at a state company, of course now there everything is according to the laws, but they broke a very expensive vehicle of about 100 000 BGN.
We ask that you check the companies that offer you these services for a license.
We of course hold one, as it is renewed annually ( as each license is only valid for a year and is renewed annually, after a technical inspection ). If you come across a company with an expired license, we also advise you to avoid it.
Company is a strong word, as most, apart from having a license, do not have a company at all, as you know in the event of a claim, at least an invoice would be helpful to claim your rights.
Believe me, ask for your invoice without fail!
