Appreciation of "Civil liability„
Congratulations to all citizens of Bulgaria and regular customers of the devil, another increase in civil liability ( GO ).
Another unpleasant surprise for the Bulgarian driver for this year, not only for the previous years of all the increases in everything since 2011.
But that's another topic...
This month another increase in the price of GI is about 40-50 BGN, with the total increase for Sofia in particular becoming about 100 BGN more than last year's price.
In general, the higher amount will be paid by drivers in the big cities around the country, with Sofia being the most expensive due to its risky condition.
The increase comes because of the Financial Supervisory Commission's report that cars, trucks and buses are not charging enough to cover the cost of claims. Compulsory insurance covers the damage a driver would cause to third parties if he or she is at fault in a road accident, as well as other incidents.
According to the FSC and the possible scenario of more and more accidents this year, the losses would probably exceed 60 million BGN. Consequently, they recommend insurers to raise policy prices. Unofficially, it is claimed that there will be a third increase of another 20 per cent this year, which has not been officially announced.... But of course, why should we know.
The Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABI) said that the appreciation had started even before the FSC report. The insurers saw that their policies were too cheap and they did not have enough money to pay claims. That is, insurers had been operating at a loss until now, as they were legally required to raise their prices by 10 percent every year.
And now if you were paying for a car with a 2,000cc engine driven by an experienced driver, about 200 BGN, now it's up almost 100 BGN... Super!
We have to confess that there is even a proposal for a price of the GI specifically provided for the "hooligans on the road", of 1 000 BGN!
I might agree here, but how do you determine who they are ?! You can not define as a hooligan, for example a driver who broke a continuous line to avoid a catastrophe because of braking suddenly dangerous driver and with an apparently maintained distance... Who would be the hooligan, the driver who stopped abruptly or the one who avoided an accident but violated the road markings with a fine of 20 BGN slip ?!!
Although, the mass crashes are caused by drivers who it is debatable whether they deserve, and whether they have legally and actually obtained their license.
It is true that the market of insurance agencies in BG is big, but why the state does not finally take care to fix the roads, to fix the alarms and safety ?! Why doesn't it also take care of the drivers who drive trucks and passenger vehicles, constantly pressured by their bosses to drive tirelessly, without taking breaks, not realizing that they are not only putting the goods they earn from in danger, not only the driver's life in danger, but also the lives of other road users. Why do we pay taxes that don't go where they should, but instead have to pay for more expensive insurance because of the state ?! And why don't they stop giving away licenses too, and tighten up the control of that, and anyway the courses always end up expensive with and without kickbacks...
Because of our failure, only in Bulgaria the price goes up, the wage goes down, and in Europe the GO goes down ( and not only ). Because in Europe the accidents are decreasing, the rules are respected, and if there is one who does not comply, usually the white ones happen to him... And most often by the way according to official statistics the accidents are caused by Bulgarians, Serbs, Macedonians, Romanians and finally Turkish drivers!!!
There's another problem, not just the lack of statehood, but the lack of brains in the people undertaking the rapid acquisition of the MVPS... Not to mention the lack of collegiality and a bunch of other things, human things.
The other reason for the increase in price is the so-called "free" green card, which, even if you do not want it, is included in the price of the policy, as in principle it is obligatory to be present to it according to European law. In principle, the green card is mandatory when leaving our borders. And due to the increased number of accidents of our citizens abroad, the lack of it is a problem, as well as the coverage of damages in a foreign country, besides it is more expensive damages.
The other problem is the incorrect insurers, delaying not only payment of damages in BG, but also damages abroad, as the penalties were harsh! Two insurance companies were found in violation of the rules - Lev Ins , DallBogg: Life and Health and others.
